Hey, I’m Max — founder of Royal Fence Upstate.

I got my start in the fencing industry after attending Coastal Carolina University. I’ve had the opportunity to work for one of the largest fence companies in the Midwest, as well as the biggest fence franchise in the country. I’ve seen the business from the inside out — what works, what doesn’t, and most importantly, what homeowners truly care about.

Over the years, I noticed a pattern. Customers were frustrated. They were tired of contractors not showing up for scheduled estimates, ghosting them after a quote, and delivering sloppy craftsmanship when the job finally got done. And honestly? They deserved better.

That’s why I started Royal Fence — to deliver a different kind of experience. One where communication is clear, timelines are respected, and the finished product is something both you and I can be proud of.

This isn’t just a job to me. It’s a craft, a community, and a commitment to helping families feel secure — whether that’s keeping the kids safe in the yard, giving your dogs space to roam, or just adding that final touch of privacy and peace of mind to your home.
